Vacant shifts on HosPortal can be identified by admin in two simple ways:
1. The admin dashboard vacant tab
If you are an admin user, you have access to TWO dashboards from the home page, the user dashboard and the admin dashboard.
Click on admin dashboard. Then choose the "vacant shifts" tab. A number of filters can be applied, if you want to see vacant shifts over a date range, or for certain roles, etc
2. The Roster View page, using highlight: vacant
On the main left navigation bar you will have one or more roster groups - typically named "call" or "rosters" or "allocations" - this is specific to your site. Choose the roster group of interest, navigate to the appropriate date range, then choose the "highlight" dropdown and tick the "vacant" checkbox.
All non-vacant shifts are then shown faded, and the vacant shifts are much more prominent:
