Phase 1: Accessing View Settings
Navigate to Super View: From the main Dashboard, click the Super view icon (the grid symbol) in the left sidebar.
Open Settings: Click the Gear Icon (or the Edit button in the top right) to open the configuration sidebar.
Phase 2: Configuring Your Data
The sidebar allows you to define exactly what appears on your schedule grid.
1. Roster Groups (Required)
At the top of the sidebar, ensure the correct Roster groups are selected in the multi-select field (e.g., Medicine, Imaging, ICU, Emergency, Surgical). You can click the "X" on a tag to remove it or click the field to add new groups.
2. Filtering Details
Under the Filters section, click Show to refine your view:
Rosters: Use the checkboxes to select or deselect specific departments (e.g., Cardiac, Colorectal, ENT).
Roles: Choose which staff types to display (e.g., Medicine Registrar, Radiologist).
Locations: Filter by specific hospital sites or theatres (e.g., Operating Theatre 16, Pain Clinic).
3. Advanced Display Options
You can further customise the look of your view by expanding the following sections:
Layout: customise your view using staff, location or calendar view
Sessions / Shift display: Change how individual shifts appear.
User display: Adjust how staff names and details are shown.
Phase 3: Naming and Saving
Select View Type: At the bottom of the sidebar, choose the appropriate visibility level:
Personal: Only visible to you.
Site: Visible to others at your specific site.
Site admins: Restricted to administrative users.
Name Your View: Locate the "Input view name" text field at the very bottom and type in a descriptive name (e.g., "Surgical Week View").
Commit Changes: Click the blue Save button.
Confirmation: A green notification will appear at the top of the screen confirming your view has been saved.
Pro Tip: You can switch between your saved views at any time by using the "Select view" dropdown menu at the top of the Super View page.
