Feature summary
Manually closing a self-roster allows administrators to end a self-roster window before its scheduled close date and time.
When to use this
A self-roster window is currently open and needs to be closed immediately or earlier than scheduled
The self-roster has a status of Launched, and the window status shows Open.
Step-by-step instructions
Close a self-roster window
Navigate to the roster group shown as On Call in the left-hand menu in this particular site.
Click Actions in the top-right area of the roster view, then select Self-rosters.
On the On Call : Self-rosters page, locate the self-roster you want to close. Confirm its status shows Launched and the window shows Open.
Click Actions next to the relevant self-roster, then select Edit.
On the Edit self-roster page, navigate to step 4 β Windows using the progress bar at the top.
Under Windows, locate the window you want to close (e.g. Window 1) and click Edit.
In the Edit selfroster window dialog, update the Close at date field to today's date or your required close date.
Click the time field next to Close at and select the desired close time from the time picker. Click OK to confirm.
Click Done to close the dialog.
Click Save in the top-right corner of the Edit self-roster page.
The system displays a Self-roster updated confirmation. The self-roster window status changes from Open to Closed. The self-roster moves from the Launched / Draft tab to the Closed tab on the On Call : Self-rosters page.
Related settings or dependencies
The Open at date on the window is not editable once the self-roster has launched. Only the Close at date and time can be modified.
The time picker defaults to 15-minute intervals. Tick Single minute to select a specific minute value.
Self-rosters are filtered by roster group. Use the roster selector at the top of the On Call : Self-rosters page to ensure the correct roster group is displayed.
