What is an Information Hub?

An overview of Information Hubs in HosPortal and what they are used for.

An Information Hub is a structured area of your HosPortal site where you can publish reference material for your staff – things like clinical guidelines, contact lists, rosters, documents and noticeboards – all in one place. Each hub is built from a simple, repeatable layout so readers can find what they need quickly, and so administrators can keep the content tidy and up to date.

Hubs appear in the left-hand navigation of your site. When a user opens a hub they see its pages laid out in neat, colour-coded columns.
