The Admin page: Rosters

The Rosters group on the Admin page — roster groups, locations, tags, reminders, rates, reports and the various shift rules.

The Rosters group on the Admin page brings roster-wide settings and rules into one place. Many can be set site-wide or across multiple rosters at once, rather than roster by roster.

  • Roster groups: a flexible structure for your rosters. Define as many as you like; each appears with its own icon in the main menu.

  • Roster locations: maintain a master list of rostering locations, which can be applied to shifts in any roster group.

  • Roster tags: group, filter and find rosters. Tags are defined here and applied to rosters within each roster admin screen.

  • Roster reminder settings: consolidate all reminders in one location — e.g. SMS and email reminders to users before their shifts. Set them per roster, or across multiple rosters or roster groups at once, and specify who acknowledgements go to.

  • Roster rates: set shift payment rates for rosters where users are allowed to invoice.

  • Roster reports: generate analytical and statistical reports for each roster group; name and save the report types.

  • Shift alerts: consolidate alerts about rosters, such as notifying administrators of changes or vacancies. Set per roster or across multiple rosters/roster groups.

  • Shift market rules: define which users can use the market for which rosters.
