Counting user templates

Count people by the state of their own templates — who is available, allocated, unavailable or exempt.

A user template counter counts people rather than shifts, based on the state of their own templates. It tells you how many staff are available on a given day, how many have already been allocated, or how many are available.

Go to Admin > Counter settings and click Add. Give the counter a Name, then set Use this setting to count to user templates.

Choose who to count

Under Count user templates of users who are, pick a selector:

any role — everyone.

a user of roles / a user not of roles — named roles, or everyone except them.

these users / not these users — named individuals, or everyone except them.

Choose the template state

able to be allocated — people who *could* be given a shift - this includes users who have either an unallocated template, or allocated template, and not currently assigned.

allocated

unallocated

available

unavailable

granted an exemption
