Detailed checklist to set up new customers

The attached document acts as a checklist of the activities HosPortal and customers would typically go through to set up a customer for the first time. Please use it as a first draft: we would review this checklist with you to determine which of these may not be relevant and how much time each activity might take in your circumstances.

Prerequisite information we will ask you to provide to kick-off the process:

  1. Copies of all rosters and clinical allocations that are required on HosPortal in the format normally you normally use.

  2. Staff list of all users to be loaded, in the attached Excel format:

  3. Copies of any standard staffing patterns and rostering rules.

  4. The names, contact details, roles and availability of the people who will be involved in setting up the rosters and making the decisions to go live.

  5. Target dates for each of the following:

    1. The first date to have your new rosters built on HosPortal.

    2. The date by which you want to finalise your rosters.

    3. The date by which you want your staff to access HosPortal (normally you would want to give them access a couple of weeks in advance of the first shift on the roster so they can see their shifts).
