When a roster is no longer needed, you can deactivate it by setting an end date. This action does not delete any past data; it simply stops the roster from being used for any future scheduling beyond the selected date.

  1. From the main On Call roster view, click the Actions button in the top-right corner of the screen. Select Admin rosters from the dropdown menu that appears.

  2. Select the Roster you wish to end and click the View button on the right-hand side of its row.

  3. On the roster's summary page, click the Edit button to make changes to its settings.

  4. Click inside the End date field to open a calendar. Select the last date that you want the roster to be active. For example, if you want the roster to stop at the end of October, you would select October 31st. If the dates are greyed out, you won't be able to choose them because there are drafted or published shifts on those dates.

  5. Click the blue Save button.

A confirmation message, "Roster updated," will appear at the top of the screen. The roster is now scheduled to end and will no longer be available for scheduling after the date you have set.
