1. Creating a New Event Tag
This section details how to set up the colour, icon, and name for your new tag.
Accessing the Event Tag Settings
Click on Admin in the left-hand navigation menu.
Select Events from the Admin menu section.
Click on Event tags to open the Event tags management screen.
Defining the New Tag Properties
On the Event tags screen, click the + Add button in the top right corner.
In the Add tag pop-up window:
Enter the tag Name (e.g., "Test Event").
(Optional) Click the Select icon field, type a search term.
(Optional) Click the Select colour field and choose a colour from the pallet or enter a specific Hex code.
Click Save. The tag is now created and ready for use in new events.
2. Applying the Event Tag to an Event
Once a tag is created, it can be applied to any new event to instantly categorise it.
Scheduling an Event
Navigate to Events on the left-hand menu.
Click the + Add button in the top right corner of the calendar screen.
In the Add Event window, complete the mandatory event details (Title, Location, Date/Time).
Selecting the Event Tag
Scroll down to the Event tags field, located below the Event Location.
Click the field and select the new tag you just created (e.g., "Event Tag").
Select any required invitees, skills, or permissions for the event on the right-hand panel.
Click Save.
Confirm the save action in the resulting pop-up.
The event will now appear on the calendar with the associated icon, text, and colour of the tag.
