Creating Leave Types via the Leave Request Page Adding "On-the-Fly"

Leave types allow you to categorise and track different kinds of absences within your department, such as Annual Leave, Sick Leave, or Conference Leave

This method is ideal if you realise a required category is missing while you are already working on a staff member's leave request.

  1. Navigate to Leave > Create Leave from the main navigation bar.

  2. Locate the Leave Type dropdown menu.

  3. Select the + Create New Type option at the bottom of the list.

  4. Enter the new type name in the pop-up window.

  5. Select the specific Staff Roles that this leave type will apply to.

  6. Click the Save button to finalise the new type.
