A callback template lets staff add callbacks (extra work outside their scheduled shift, typically when on call) to their timesheets. For someone to add a callback, there must be a matching callback template.
On your Admin page, search for "callback" and open Callback templates (it sits under the Timesheets section).
Click the +Add button. A pop-up window titled Add new callback template appears:
Name: a label for the template.
Start date and End date: the period this template is active. Leave the end date blank if it has no end.
Applies to oncall shifts: choose which on-call shifts a callback can be claimed against — all on-call shifts, or specific rosters or roster groups.
Applies to users: who can use this template (by role and/or user).
Click Save. The template appears in the list. Use Edit or Delete to change it later.
Changing a template that's in use: once a template has callbacks against it, you can only change its name and end date directly. To change anything else, use the Migrate button on the row. Migrating ends the current template on a date you choose and starts a new one the next day, so existing callbacks are preserved.
