HosPortal can be installed on your phone's home screen so it acts just like an app.
HosPortal as an app
HosPortal uses dynamic web pages that recognise the type of device you are using and and renders each page in the best way for the screen size and layout you are using. It means you do not need to download a separate app and always have all the functions as soon as they are released on the main software application.
You can however make HosPortal look and behave like an app. Follow the instructions below depending on whether you are using an iOS device from Apple or an Android device.
iOS/iPhone
Open the Safari browser on your iPhone (not Chrome or Firefox)
Go to the login page, or enter app.hosportal.com into the address bar
After HosPortal has loaded, select the "share" icon at the bottom of the screen (A in the screenshot below)
4. Scroll all the way down and choose "Add to Home screen" (B)
5. When you are finished you will see the HosPortal logo on your home screen, just like any other app, and will be taken there whenever you press that icon.
Android
Open Google Chrome and click on the three vertical dots to open the options for Settings. Scroll down and click on "Add to Home screen" (C).
2. It will create an icon on the home page that looks like an app (D).
