A new, more flexible, and comprehensive reporting method has been introduced for generating reports on rosters, shifts, and staff. To access the new reporting feature, go to Admin > Roster reports > Shift.

Shift reports are a type of raw data report that provides flexibility to create pivot tables and perform your own analytics. These reports include almost any information about a shift, such as shift start/end time, users on the shift, their roles, notes, tags, and more.

Default Shift Reports

There are three types of default system shift reports pre-configured and saved for your site:

  • rawShifts: Each row contains information about a shift, including the start and end time, the individuals assigned to the shift, their roles, and any notes about the shift.

  • rawShiftsCancelled: Includes information specifically about cancelled shifts.

  • rawShiftsHistory: Provides historical information about the changes that have occurred for a shift.

How to generate a report

To display the report, click on 'View' next to the shift report you wish to download.

A pop-up window will appear. Make your changes to the date range and filters, then click on 'Generate report' to download it.

Creating a New Report

To create a new raw report,

  1. Navigate to "Admin > roster > roster reports > Shift".

  2. click on '+Create new raw report'.

  3. You may change the headers by deleting the default ones and/or adding more. To add headers, click on 'Edit headers'.

  4. Click "Save" to save the report with the parameters you defined.
