Suppose you have more than one HosPortal profile (for example, one with a personal email and another with a work or hospital email). In that case, you can consolidate them into a single profile. This process will transfer the data from a secondary account into the primary account you are currently using.
Important Information Before You Begin
One-Way Process: Merging is irreversible. The data from the account you are merging from (the secondary account) will be moved into the account you are currently logged into (the primary account).
Account Deactivation: After the merge is complete, the secondary account will be deactivated. You will no longer be able to log in with that email and password.
Which Account to Keep: We recommend logging into the account you wish to use as your main profile going forward. This will be your primary account.
Steps:
Follow these steps to merge a secondary account into your primary account.
Log in to the HosPortal account you want to keep.
Click on your name/profile icon in the top-right corner of the dashboard.
Select Account settings from the dropdown menu.
Navigate to "Merge Accounts", located on the left-hand side.
Click the blue Merge account button to proceed.
Two fields will appear: "Email" and "Password". In these fields, enter the login details for the secondary account—the one you wish to merge from and will no longer use.
Confirm the Merge.
The system will process the request, transfer the data, and deactivate the old account.
