Locating and Initiating the Ad Hoc Shift
Navigate to the Location based roster page from the main menu.
Select the day where you need to add the shift.
Click the Edit button in the top right corner of the Allocations view.
Scroll down the list of locations to find the correct location (e.g., Theatre 2) and click the green + icon next to the location name.
Configuring and Publishing the Shift
When the Add Ad Hoc shift pop-up appears, you will configure the shift details, assign a user, and publish it to the roster.
In the Add Ad Hoc shift pop-up:
Select the appropriate Roster from the dropdown (e.g., Cardiac).
Confirm the Location for the shift (e.g., Theatre 2).
(Optional) Enter a Name for the shift, which will appear on the roster.
(Optional) Click Edit next to the date and time to adjust the start and end times if the shift differs from the default.
Click + Add user to select the staff member you are allocating to the shift.
In the Select user modal, select the user's name (e.g., Alsatrawi, Ammar) and click Done.
Review the final shift details and click Publish.
Converting the shift to an ad hoc shift
Navigate to the Allocations page from the main menu.
Find the specific shift you wish to change.
Click the shift you want to edit (e.g., the IR shift under Theatre 4).
The Edit shift modal will open.Next to the Roster field, click the Edit button.
In the Roster field dropdown, select the required roster.
Click Save. A message will confirm: "Changing roster will convert this to an ad hoc shift."
