HosPortal enables site administrators to mask email and mobile numbers from select categories of users, allowing greater control over the security of users' personal details.

This does not disable the use of these, so users can still freely communicate using HosPortal's "direct message" page, and all reminders, alerts and digests are still sent as usual.

This setting can either be applied to all users, or to individual users

To mask emails or mobiles for all users at your site

  1. Choose "Admin" from the left hand navigation bar

  2. Search for or click "Site details"

  3. Click "Edit"

  4. Use the toggles next to "hide user emails" and "hide user mobiles"

  5. Click Save

For individual users

  1. Choose "Staff" from the left hand navigation bar

  2. Click on the users name to open their profile page

  3. Choose the "profile tab" at the top left

  4. Click "Edit"

  5. Use the toggles next to "hide email" and "hide mobile"

  6. Click Save
