Method 1: Deleting an Entire Row of Shifts

Use this method to quickly delete all shifts within a specific role for the currently displayed date range (e.g., an entire week for the "Cardiac" call).

  1. Click the Edit button at the top right of the screen.

  2. Move your mouse over the name of the role in the far-left column (e.g., "1st Call," "Cardiac call"). Click on the three-dot menu icon to show the options.

  3. Select Delete from this menu.

  4. A confirmation pop-up box will appear asking you to verify the action. To prevent accidental deletion, you must type the word "delete" into the input field. Click the final Delete button to remove the shifts.

Method 2: Deleting Specific Shifts with Multi-Select

Use this method when you need to remove multiple, specific shifts that are in different roles or on non-consecutive days.

  1. Click the Edit button.

  2. Click the Actions button in the top-right corner to open a dropdown menu and select Multi-select from the menu.

  3. Click on each individual shift you wish to remove. Selected shifts will be highlighted with a blue border.

  4. As you select shifts, a Bulk edit (X) button will appear at the top of the screen, where 'X' is the number of shifts you have selected. Click the Bulk edit (X) button.

  5. From the dropdown menu that appears, click Delete.

  6. A confirmation pop-up box will appear asking you to verify the action. To prevent accidental deletion, you must type the word "delete" into the input field. Click the final Delete button to remove the shifts.

After completing either method, a confirmation message ("Shifts deleted") will briefly appear at the top of the screen, and the roster will be updated.

Method 3: Deleting One Shift

Use this method when you need to remove one specific shift.

  1. Click on the shift.

  2. The Edit Shift pop-up box will appear. Click the Delete button.
