HosPortal login issues

There are a few reasons why you might have trouble logging into to HosPortal. See if these match your experience:

What is the site to log in?

Our login page is https://app.hosportal.com. You can bookmark this site so you can easily login.

I changed my password and logged in, but the next time using that password failed.

This probably means you are not using your email address to log in. Make sure you type your email address into the first box, and your password into the second box. Typing your name, or some other value, won't work.

I don't receive an email each time I request a new password

This probably means you are not using the correct email on your account to request a new password. If you registered in the past with one email, but someone has created a new role at a hospital with a different email, your account will still be associated with that old email. That is the email you need to use to request a new password and receive the reset password link.

If you no longer have access to your old email, reach out to the HosPortal team to assist you.

Have you registered and chosen a password?

To use HosPortal you must first receive an invitation by email. This email includes a link to choose a password and be logged in. If you've never chosen a password, you can never login. If you haven't received an invitation, you need to talk to an administrator at your hospital.

How to reset a password?

Resetting the HosPortal is easy. If using a shared computer, make sure that no one is logged in to HosPortal at the same time.

1. Go to app.hosportal.com and click on "Forgot Password".

2. Enter the email address and click "Send password reset email". Note that it will send the link to the email used when the profile was registered and may not be the same email in the profile.

Clearing the cache and refreshing the browser

Clear the cache (clear your browsing history) on the browser you are using. This is in the settings for your browser.

The refresh button is located on the top of your browser (on a laptop) or maybe on the bottom (on a phone) and looks like a circular arrow. Once the refresh is complete, you will be able to continue using HosPortal as usual. You need to do this for each browser you are using.

I keep getting logged out.
